"I want to do something more interesting." Working a regular job, that thought never quite went away. Weekends were time spent consuming. Days of only receiving fun that someone else had built slowly started to feel thin.

That's when it hit me: if it doesn't exist, build it. The first one was a small drinking party with a handful of people. But time spent talking with people running at the same temperature turned out to be worth more than anything.

ACT is a place for not staying a consumer. Not just attending someone else's event, but becoming the one who makes it. Past that first step, there are people and views you never expected.
